Most dashboards don’t drive decisions.

You have Data Analysts producing KPIs, dashboards and insights. But decisions still don’t happen.
The Diagnostic helps you identify where your analytics break down and what to fix first.

See what’s blocking decisions.

If decisions don’t happen, it usually comes from here:

  • Requests are captured, but not clarified
  • Teams jump to solutions too early
  • You get different numbers for the same KPI
  • Business consumes, but doesn’t decide

Reports and dashboards keep multiplying.
Teams don’t know which one to trust or use.
So they naturally go back to Excel to figure it out themselves.

Over time, this creates something more damaging

Data teams get overloaded with ad-hoc requests
Everything becomes urgent, because nothing is truly prioritized

They produce more and more, but influence decisions less and less.

They gradually become a delivery function handling requests instead of solving problems

To keep up, they move faster but lose perspective, depth, and eventually motivation.

Meanwhile, the business loses patience and trust
And data teams lose confidence, credibility and legitimacy.

What happens during the 45 min call

  • where friction exists across teams and processes
  • where data creates confusion instead of clarity
  • how requests and priorities operate today
  • who owns dashboards, KPIs, and decisions
  • where trust in data starts to break down
  • where decisions slow down or stop

The goal is to listen carefully to your challenges and identify where your decision system starts to slow down, struggle, or break.

Who am I?

My name is Aurélien Vautier.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked with analytics and BI teams across different industries, reviewing dashboards, supporting organizations, and training over 2,000 professionals.

Across projects, tools, and companies, I kept observing similar patterns:

Dashboards were delivered. But decisions remained slow, unclear, or disconnected from action.

The issue was rarely effort or technical capability.

More often, it came from how analytics, ownership, collaboration, and decision-making were structured.

And most organizations struggle to see it clearly, regardless of industry.

This is for you if:

  • your backlog grows faster than you can deliver
  • dashboards exist, but decisions still slow down
  • outputs are produced, but usage remain unclear
  • business teams bypass your team to get things done
  • KPIs, definitions, and priorities are not aligned

This is not for you if:

  • you’re mainly looking for a new dashboard
  • you believe tools alone will solve the issue
  • decision-making already feels clear and aligned
  • reporting complexity is still relatively low
  • you’re not ready to challenge current practices
