The cards are out. 9 days until the global launch.
Last Wednesday, I released the first Analytics Design Process Card Deck exclusively to the waiting list.
The first results are in:
9 people bought the deck, across 6 countries.
It's a small start, but an interesting one.
The first buyers now have access to the full deck, high-resolution PNG cards and the Miro board to use them with their teams.
I've also reached out to them for feedback.
Now I'm waiting to see what they actually use, what they find useful and, probably more importantly, what needs to improve.
One card, one idea
One of the principles behind the deck is simple:
The requested solution is rarely the necessary solution.
When someone asks for a dashboard, a KPI or a new report, the request is only the starting point.
The job is to understand the problem behind it before deciding what should be built.
That's exactly what the Analytics Design Process card deck is designed to help teams do.
October 8: global launch
The waiting list had early access.
On Thursday, October 8, the deck will officially become available to everyone.
And I'm already working on what comes next.
In case you missed it
One of my recent LinkedIn posts got a lot of attention around a topic I keep seeing inside analytics teams: The famous export to Excel.
