The Single Source of Truth Fantasy + Miro Board
A quick update on the card project.
The first deck, focused on the Analytics Product Framework, should be available in July.
These are not Pokémon cards to collect.
They're pattern recognition tools designed to help you identify recurring situations, hidden frictions, and costly organizational mistakes before they escalate.
Last week, I had the opportunity to test some of these concepts with Data Product Managers and Data Analysts at Decathlon, a French retail company of 100K+ employees and 500+ data professionals that I've proudly been supporting for the past three years. The feedback was very positive, and people were genuinely enthusiastic as they quickly recognized many of the situations they experience every day.

Do you see yourself or your team using this type of digital asset in your organization? If it's the case, send a thumb up or "Yes" by email por favor.
This week's card
We'll explore why having a Single Source of Truth is an admirable goal, but can sometimes become counterproductive. Nuance is often necessary, and some teams genuinely need different definitions.

Take Active Customers as an example.
1. Marketing may define an active customer as someone who purchased within the last 30 days.
2. Finance may prefer a 90-day window to analyze customer value over a longer period.
3. CRM teams may work with a 180-day window to identify customers for re-engagement campaigns.
Who is right?
Everyone.

Hope you enjoyed this week's card. If you know someone who could benefit from it, feel free to forward it to a colleague.
Have a great week everyone!
Aurélien
